The regular meeting of the Franklin Town Board was called to order by Supervisor Jeff Taggart at 7:34 p.m. Present were Jeff Taggart, David Grant, Donnie Smith, Dwight Bruno, Mark Laing and Paul Warner. Also present were Chris Downin, Sara Andros, Brian Brock, Tony Breuer and Troy Cave.
The minutes from July 2, 2019 meeting were read. David Grant made the motion to accept minutes as read. Donnie Smith seconded the motion. All present agreed.
Jeff said there will be a Shred it day, free to the community, at the Town Sheds on October 19, 2019 sponsored by Chen Del O Credit Union.
Mark reported that they finished paving Christian Hill and tied in Round Top Rd with what was left.
Jeff signed contract for land for town offices.
Jeff reported the planning board approved a simple boundary adjustment on Walley Rd.
DelGado’s office called Jeff about possible funding for new Town building.
Donnie Smith reported on the cemetery sidewalk. He should be able to get the stones in the spring. Paul said the donations towards sidewalk are $4854.00. It should cover all of the cost.
Vouchers # 313-358 were presented for payment.
With nothing more to come before the board, Donnie Smith made a motion to adjourn at 7:50 P.M. David Grant seconded the motion. All present agreed.
