The regular meeting of the Franklin Town Board was called to order by Supervisor Jeff Taggart at 7:35 P.M. Present were Jeff Taggart, Garret Sitts, David Grant, Dwight Bruno, Donnie Smith, Mark Laing and Paul Warner. Also present were Roger Reed, Brian Brock, Pete Nero, Tony Breuer, Dave Tuthill, Alan Lapp, Darryl Lapp, Don Hebbard, Jim Basile and Pat Rohan.
The minutes were read from the August 7, 2018 meeting. Garret Sitts made a motion to accept the minutes as read. David Grant seconded the motion and all present agreed.
Dave Tuthill gave the report for the Kellogg Franklin Trust.
Dave made the motion to appoint Sonja Johns as Deputy Clerk. Dwight seconded the motion and all present agreed.
Mark Laing reported that they finished paving Jackson Hill Road and Franklin Depot Road. Matt Taggart is looking to put up a garage.
Planning Board – Williams sub-division is done.
Dave made a motion to go into executive session to discuss legal matters. Donnie seconded the motion and all present agreed. The board returned from Executive session at 8:23 P.M. Garret made the motion to return to regular meeting. Dave seconded the motion and all present agreed.
Jeff discussed the building addition at Town Garage .
There is a new service on cell tower.
Have heard nothing about grant for lighting at Town garage.
The question was asked where the money was coming from for the building fund . Paul explained that there was a line item in the budget for that and that it wasn’t coming from highway money.
Vouchers # 378-415 were presented for payment.
With nothing further to come before the Board Garret made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:01 P.M. Dave seconded the motion and all present agreed.
