The regular monthly meeting of the Franklin Town Board was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Jeff Taggart. Present were Jeff Taggart, David Grant, Donnie Smith, Dwight Bruno, Mark Laing and Paul Warner. Also present were Bree Reed, Roger Reed, Mike Wallace, Don Hebbard, Brian Brock and Tony Breuer. Absent was Garret Sitts.
The minutes were read from the June meeting. David made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Dwight seconded the motion and all present agreed.
David made a motion to appoint Barbara Thompson to the Planning Board. Donnie seconded the motion and all present agreed.
The State Comptroller’s Office has received the Corrective Action Plan. The years 2014-2017 AUD Reports have also been filed. They are available in the Town Clerk’s Office for review during regular business hours.
Mark Laing would like to pave Jackson Hill Road with the Pave New York monies.
The new lights are working very well.
A new phone system still needs to be looked into.
Donnie made a motion to transfer $1700.00 from Contingency Account #1994 to Independent Auditing & Accounting #1324. David seconded the motion and all present agreed.
Paul needs a new copier/ scanner for his office. David made a motion to allow Paul to purchase a new copier/ scanner. Donnie seconded the motion and all present agreed.
Vouchers # 275-332 were presented for payment.
With nothing more to come before the Board, David made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:20 P.M. Dwight seconded motion and all present agreed.
